The Florida law concerning moving a child more than 50 miles away during and after a Florida divorce changed dramatically in 2009. Conceding that the prior law was not working, the Florida Legislature made 8 major revisions to the law and procedure that apply when a parent wants to move a child during and after a Florida divorce.
